This Independence Day, while we're celebrating America's freedom, thousands of Sailors will spend the holiday deployed far from home. Long deployments, isolation, and the relentless demands of military service take a real toll on mental health.

That's why Morale Dogs matter.

Every Morale Dog from Shelter to Soldier begins as a rescued shelter dog and is transformed through months of specialized training into a trusted companion aboard U.S. Navy ships. These remarkable dogs provide comfort, reduce stress, strengthen morale, and offer a powerful reminder of home to the men and women standing watch for our country.

But this mission doesn't happen on its own.
