Hero Company Customer Shows Off New Tattoo Inspired by His Dad and a Hero Co Product

Sometimes a piece of jewelry becomes more than something you wear. It becomes a reminder of how you want to live.

Hero Company customer  Donald M. recently shared an incredible tattoo inspired by our  Memento Mori Talisman—and, more importantly, by the memory of his father.

Donald wrote:

“In honor of my Dad’s passing over more than a year ago, I got a tattoo from the Hero Company Memento Mori design image. Death Waits For No One. Get out and live life to the fullest. Tomorrow on this life is never promised, but eternal life through Jesus Christ is. Tattoo was done by Tony Franco of RockInkNRoll Tattoo in Virginia Beach. The guy is absolutely amazing at what he does.”

The  Memento Mori Talisman was created around the ancient idea ofmemento mori—Latin for“Remember, you must die.”

The talisman features a striking skull design on one side and the words“MORTEM NEMO EXPECTAT” on the reverse—a reminder that death waits for no one. None of us knows how much time we have, and that reality can serve as a powerful reason to stop postponing the things that matter.

Spend time with the people you love. Take the trip. Chase the goal. Say what needs to be said. Appreciate the ordinary days while you still have them.

For Donald, that message took on an even deeper meaning after losing his dad. Rather than simply wearing the Memento Mori design, he chose to permanently carry its message with him.
